Challenge | Airmate is a company engaged in the research, development, production, and sales of various kinds of small household appliances. Aline was commissioned to design their retail store in the Guangbai Department Store, aiming to promote the sales of the electrical fans and dehumidifier.

They hope to convey the brand image of Airmate as an expert to control and manufacture “wind”, creating a good air environment.

Concept | Aline’s solution is to emphasize the functional characteristics of the product, using interactive installation to build immersive scenarios, and use intuitive user experience to strengthen consumers’ trust in the product. The poetic visual presentation of the invisible air and water creates an engaging experience so that consumers have a good impression of the brand.

Execution | A series of small windmills are suspended on the frame. The windmills are blown by the electric fan to produce harmonious color gradients and movements. Consumers can control the electric fan through the IPad and see the visual rhythm it brings.
