Challenge | A studio-initiated project, create a window lighting installation that exhibits the characteristics of Aline Studio Beijing, a graphic design studio,  in a poetic language.

Concept | Inspired by the foundation of graphic design: grid system, the dynamics of the GRID lighting installation refer to moving the reference line in the design software which is the daily work of Aline Studio Beijing.

Execution | The device uses two liquid crystal tubes as light sources, which are driven by two stepper motors.  The two lights move horizontally and vertically to form a grid of light.
